Get ready to shop till you drop today! Start your day in the historic Exchange District of Winnipeg. This area of the city is known as the original centre of commerce and culture in the early boom years of Winnipeg. The stores and galleries in the district are located in historic buildings and warehouses that have even been used as Hollywood movie backdrops and sets. Stores in the Exchange District include: galleries, clothing, shoes, cosmetics, and antiques. After this, head to the Nygard Fashion World. Brands you’ll shop for include: Nygard, Alia, Tanjay, and Bianca that are at great everyday low prices. After Nygard, head to Osborne Village for an eclectic mix of chic and shabby! Osborne Village is a unique place concentrated on four city blocks and has many boutiques, cafes, and specialty stores. After Osborne Village, head to Corydon Avenue, also known as Winnipeg’s Little Italy. Known for its Italian restaurants and gelato shops, Corydon Avenue also has some great shopping. Once you are finished here, head to Academy Road. This area of the city is known for its specialty food shops and wine stores.
