Price

$28.00 + 5% GST ($29.40) for Adults 12 and over

$16.00 + 5% GST ($16.80) for Children 11 and under

Children that are three and under are “free on the knee”

*Seats for the tour are non-refundable/non-transferable and must be purchased in advance; once booked cannot be changed – We cannot hold seats without payment. Please make sure you are booking the correct date and correct number of seats.

 

Included in the tour on both nights:

• 3-hour guided Christmas lights tour of Winnipeg
• Transportation on a heated, highway motor coach
• Christmas light bingo
• Christmas trivia
• Christmas carols
• Entrance into Canad Inns Winter Wonderland on all tour nights

 

Special Notes: The motor coaches we have for both tour dates are not wheelchair accessible; if you can manage to get up / down a few stairs then these tours are fine as we have storage under the bus for wheelchairs and walkers

Please note seats are not assigned and are taken on a first come, first served basis. Please arrive early if you have a preference of seating on the bus or require assistance. The tours we offer for the public meet at the Forks Market and will not pick up or drop off people on the route. You must take the entire tour starting and ending from the Forks Market.

Group Rates

Got a group of 10 or more and want to hop on board the regular public tours? Rates are as follows:

If you have 10 adults or more paying with one form of payment:

• $24.00 + 5% GST ($25.20) for Adults 12 and over

Full payment for group bookings is due all at once using one form of payment and are non-refundable; dates cannot be changed once booked; we cannot hold seats without payment; We can take Visa, MC, cash (exact change), cheque (made payable to Heartland Travel)

Itinerary

Where to Meet: The tour starts and ends at the Travel Manitoba Information Centre located at the Forks Market, adjacent to the Johnston Terminal.

Join us as we tour throughout Winnipeg and see the many displays that keep us in the running for the Christmas capital of Canada! While listening to fun and popular Christmas carols, you will see many colourful Christmas light displays that include both residential and businesses. See the Christmas Lights at the Manitoba Legislative Building and the Camels that stand across from it.

We’ll slowly drive down Candy Cane Lane, Polar Bear Lane, and Nutcracker Street to view some amusing and enjoyable light displays! Try your luck at Christmas Light Bingo and trivia to win some festive prizes! Learn the importance of using LED lighting in your own Christmas light displays and so much more!

 

Private Tours for your group

We have two bus sizes available for 3 hour private tours:

• Cost of a private tour on a mini bus is $795.00 + 5% GST
  (Maximum of 22 people can be booked)
• Cost of a private tour on a motor coach is $995.00 + 5% GST
  (Maximum of 53 people can be booked)
  **Date requested is subject to guide and bus availability

If you have your own bus and would like the step-on guides:

• Cost is $275.00 + GST for the regular tour route we do, excluding Winter Wonderland
• Cost is $345.00 + GST for the tour and includes entrance into Winter Wonderland
• The above costs are based on a 3-hour tour with Christmas music and trivia
• If you would like the guides to do Christmas light bingo with prizes, please add an additional $20 onto the rate
  **Date requested is subject to guide availability

Terms and Conditions for booking a private tour for either bus size:
There is a $250.00 non-refundable deposit due at the time of booking a private tour

• Final numbers for the tour is due one day prior to the tour date
• Final payment for the tour is due at least one week after your tour night
• Costs are based on a 3 hour tour starting and ending in Winnipeg; out of town pick up or drop off or special routing or vehicle sizes for your group may change the above costs; contact Heartland Travel for more information
• Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, cash, or certified cheque
• An invoice and receipt can be provided to your group for accounting purposes
