Tour Itinerary
6:45am – You depart the Charter Terminal at 50 Morberg Way on an ATR 42-300 aircraft for Churchill. You receive a light breakfast on board.
9:15am – You arrive in Churchill. Upon arrival you will be transferred directly to the Tundra Buggy launch site where you will board your Tundra Buggy for the day. This is a very unique vehicle, well heated, and washroom equipped. The Buggy’s over inflated tires allow unparalleled access onto the tundra. Conservation regulation restricts the routes these vehicles can follow in order to protect the fragile ecosystem of this sub-Arctic region. The knowledgeable Tundra Buggy driver / interpreter will make every effort to ensure you have the most favourable conditions to photograph the bears. A platform on the rear of the buggy allows passengers to get an unrestricted view of the bears. A hearty boxed lunch, prepared locally, will be served on board. You return to Churchill at dusk for dinner at the Seaport Restaurant. There will also be time to shop for some Inuit soapstone carvings or other local souvenirs.
8:30pm – Your flight departs for Winnipeg
10:45pm – You arrive at the Charter Terminal in Winnipeg

Classic Aurora Borealis Tour
Yes! It is possible to see the aurora during Bear Season! After a day of polar bears, reward yourself with yet another natural wonder of Churchill.
For this classic favourite tour, we will travel outside of town where there is less light pollution to chase these mystical dancing lights across the night sky. During this time of year, Polar bears are common, so your Guide is a trained polar bear guard, who keeps passenger and wildlife safety a top priority. This will insure your safety during the many viewing and photography opportunities of the evening.
Please note that the Aurora is a natural phenomenon and may not be active on the night of your scheduled tour and the following policies are in place to optimize your chance of seeing them: When you book an Aurora tour, you can sign up for any evening or evenings you would like. If the lights come out before 10:00pm, your Guide will contact you by phone or knock on your hotel room door to let you know the tour is running and will pick you up. Pick up and drop off at your accommodation is included.
